Spacecraft Development Club: GOAT-1 is WPI's first satellite mission! We are developing a PocketQube, a 5cm cube satellite, designed to validate our hardware in space in preparation for larger missions. This spacecraft incorporates innovative instrumentation and communication systems on board. The mission will also establish precident for the use of liquid crystal glass (LGC) as solar protection for imaging sensors in space. Join us to build a flight legacy for WPI!
