Human Lander Challenge

The WPI NASA Human Lander Challenge Research Team participates annually in the NASA Human Lander Challenge (HuLC), submitting a formal proposal package every March based on NASA's yearly research topics. Past projects include designing the Connective Lunar Apparatus via Synchronous Piping (CLASP) for long-duration life support systems, which utilized synchronous piping, an untested technology in space. Through this team, members gain hands-on experience in technical proposal writing, interdisciplinary project management, and collaborative and independent research.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    .
