Model Rocketry through AIAA at WPI is a safe guided process of the designing, building, and launching of a small lightweight rocket. The use of epoxy as the primary adhesive teaches students the importance of understanding dangers of chemicals and the correct way to handle hazards. This educational procedure allows for the student to begin to understand the basics of rocketry principles, as well as getting familiar with the test engineering side.
