Jet Engine Project is a subcommittee that has its very own mini jet engine and test stand! We meet to design, review, and implement modifications to our engine and “BBQ” test stand setup. We also do outings for jet engine firings, where we fire up the engine for safe testing purposes. Jet Engine Project is a great way to gain hands-on experience while working on a team, as well as learn methodical testing procedures and safety protocols when working with a jet engine!
