We meeting on Tuesdays from 8 - 9 pm in the Janet Earle room in Alden Hall.

The WPI Club Alpine and Nordic Ski Team is a competitive ski racing team that competes in the USCSA Eastern Thompson Division. Members of the team participate in alpine or nordic ski racing events. Alpine events include giant slalom (GS), slalom (SL), and dual slalom.

During C term the team travels to different states in New England to participate in races against other universities including Northeastern, Tufts, Holy Cross, Connecticut College, and Boston University.

The team has qualified for USCSA Regionals and Nationals!

The WPI Student Branch is one of campus' largest special interest clubs. We organize weekly events like guest speakers, design challenges, and social activities. AIAA is an excellent way to meet other people who are interested in aerospace. The club runs a number of subcommittees, most of which are focused on hands on aerospace projects. As a professional society, we also offer things like career fair prep and schedule help. The WPI AIAA is open to all WPI students, regardless of major. On campus, we're one of the largest special interest clubs and we host a variety of events from guest speakers to design challenges. The WPI CollabLab is a student maker organization which administers a member-operated lab space and provides a collaborative community with the goal of fostering and facilitating extracurricular student projects at WPI. These projects include Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Science, cosplay, woodworking, and much more. Members have access to the tools, parts, knowledge, inspiration, and assistance necessary to cultivate their own out-of-class projects. The international makerspace movement is growing rapidly. Makerspaces tend to be loosely organized, governed by consensus, and infused with an almost utopian spirit of cooperation, sharing, and technological enthusiasm. Basically, everyone builds what they want, when they want, how they want. If one person prefers to focus on one aspect of a project more than another, they just...do. If a group of people decide to form together to work on a much larger project (e.g. putting a hacker in space) they just...do. It's as easy as that!

The WPI Fencing Club — http://users.wpi.edu/~fencing/ — has been active for over 50 years. It is open to any WPI student who is interested in fencing. It normally meets two to three times a week during the terms to practice and fence. There is a small yearly club membership fee. Elected student Officers run the club.
* No experience necessary.
* Training for beginners starts in the Fall.
* PE 1205 credit available in A and B terms.
* Training available in Foil, Epee and Sabre.
* USFCA qualified coaching.
* If needed, we can provide equipment.
* Use myWPI's to join the club.

This club is all about plants! We host a variety of plant-themed events each term including time in WPI's greenhouse, field trips, and our annual plant sale. We have our own collection of plants that we are responsible for caring for. The purpose of Origins shall be to provide an opportunity for all the members of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Community to lead a life of happiness, peace, and good health through the process of Krishna Consciousness or God Consciousness as enshrined in ancient Vedic texts.

Origins is not just a platform for social and cultural communications, but for enabling students to gain Spiritual Quotient.
