STEM in Action
Campus Girl Scouts hosts STEM in Action on WPI's campus. This is an expo style event that allows Girl Scouts to explore different STEM careers. Campus Girl Scouts partners with a variety of WPI academic clubs that run booths with hands on STEM activities.
GSCWM Geek is Glam
Campus Girl Scouts at WPI members joined Girl Scouts of Central and Western Mass on WPI's campus for Geek is Glam. We helped run a booth where girls learned about denisty and chemical reactions by making lava lamps.
GSCWM Railer's Day
Campus Girl Scouts at WPI members joined Girl Scouts of Central and Western Mass in their day of STEM with the Worcester Railers! We helped Cadettes earn their engineering journey by making corgi life vests, elephant prosthetics and camp cabins! Members of CGS got a patch and even enjoyed the following hockey game!
Shrewsbury Thinking Day
Campus Girl Scouts at WPI participated in Shrewsbury Thinking Day. We were able to share “Our Story” of how Girl Scouts influenced our STEM careers. Girls participated in a timeline activity where they learned about Women’s US history, Women in STEM, and Girl Scout history. They then got creative and made SWAPS!
