WPI Ballroom Dance Team

Welcome to the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Ballroom Dance Team Website!

The Ballroom Dance Team is a student-run organization with over 50 members and hosts dance events such as Burn The Floor and our annual Worcester Classic Ballroom Competition where other local colleges come to compete. The Ballroom Dance Team welcomes members of all dancing ability, so don’t be discouraged if you’ve never danced before; we can help you learn! Our team is open to anyone willing to learn to waltz, tango, foxtrot, samba, jive, and so many more.

The Ballroom Dance Team offers P.E. credit for members who participate in a performance or spectate two performances- participation in Ballroom Dance for four semesters will fulfill your P.E. requirement at WPI. In addition to offering academic credit, our rehearsals and performances are tons of fun. The Ballroom Dance Team is a lively group that has a lot to offer its members, including a friendly community, fun events, and a great time!
