The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is a national, chapter based society that exists to help Physics and Astronomy students transform themselves into contributing members of the professional community. Here at WPI's Chapter of SPS, we are a close-knit community with a foundation of personal interactions and networking amongst ourselves, presenting scholarly work in professional meetings and journals, research experiences, and outreach services to the campus and local communities. Through its members, advisors, chapters, and leadership, SPS enables national initiatives and local impacts within the community. SPS supports students, advisers, and departments to improve the overall community.
In becoming a member of SPS, you become a part of a close-knit community for anyone at all interested in Physics and Astronomy--you do not need to be a Physics major/minor in order to join!!
