Website Mission

Mission
The organization will be named the Student Music Association (also known as
the SMA).
2. The goal of the Student Music Association is to bring together Worcester Polytechnic
Institute students and faculty who are interested in music. The SMA is a community
for musicians to play in events, form bands, check out equipment, and reserve
rehearsal spaces. Further, the Student Music Association is committed to building a
closer community among music enthusiasts through organized social events and
meetings.
3. The Student Music Association also encourages the development of coordination,
cooperation, communication, professionalism, performance, and networking—all
of which will help WPI students prepare for their futures in accordance with the
university's mission.
4. We provide resources, a community, and an outlet for music enthusiasts.
