Psi Chi Honors Society as a representative body of students, with the purpose of:
(1) Providing extra academic support to the students
(2) Providing connections to students, faculty, as well as other universities
(3) Providing leadership development opportunities
(4) Provide and maintain excellence in scholarship
(5) Provide research opportunities for students
(7) Sense of community
(8) International recognition for academic excellence

Membership is for life with the initial society registration fee of $55 serving as the only payment ever made to the Central Office of the organization
