KGM stands for 칼군무 (Kal-Goon-Mu), which translates roughly to “strong and powerful choreography”.
The KGM Dance Crew is a dance club at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is open to the general school body to join. We teach East Asian dance choreography and perform at many annual events on campus every term.
The purpose of KGM is to unite students at Worcester Polytechnic Institute who have a passion for K-pop and Asian pop and want to learn K-pop and Asian pop dances. This organization aims to showcase a wide array of dance styles found in K-pop and Asian pop music through workshops and performances.
Members get to perform dances at school events and run for executive positions in the club.
