About Us
Founded in 1979, the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Jazz Group regularly tours the globe, hosts regional festivals and symposia, and invites renowned jazz players/composers/educators to the campus and the Worcester area for concerts and clinics. Directed by Professor Douglas Olsen, Stage Band, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combo, and Brass Band perform a wide range of literature, often in concerts, TV shows, festivals, educational programs, banquets, and charity fund-raisers, and for audio/video recordings!
