About Us

The primary purpose of the Equestrian Team is to make equestrian sports more accessible to the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Community and to create a competitive co-ed equestrian team. This purpose is accomplished through team practices, competition, and equestrian education. The team is affiliated with Maplewood Farm in Berlin, Massachusetts, and the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). The WPI Equestrian Team is aligned with WPI’s core mission by conveying knowledge about equestrian sports to any student who wish to gain skills and exposure to the sport.
