The primary responsibility of the WPI Ballroom Dance Team is to extend the knowledge and ability of its members. A secondary responsibility is to advertise and invite non-members to participate in learning the rudiments of ballroom dancing. It is the responsibility of all members to contribute to an environment in which all participants can excel. The organization exists to provide all members with the ability to experience the joy of dancing in a supportive community.
Members of the Ballroom Dance Team enjoy access to dance lessons, social events, and competitive opportunities, all within a supportive environment. They can participate in team activities for personal enjoyment, physical wellness, or to represent WPI at ballroom competitions. Active members also gain access to mentorship, leadership roles, and the chance to contribute to the future of the club.
